AUTOOL BT760
Measure the battery. Document the result.
Carry out battery, cranking, charging-system and load checks with one device. Review measurements on the AUTOOL BT760’s 3.2-inch color display and turn them into instant printed service records with its built-in thermal printer.
- 1-Year Otoeko Warranty
- Reverse Polarity Protection
- 12V Passenger & 24V Heavy Duty
- Multilingual Interface

Four distinct checks in one device.
Electrical complaints typically trace back to the battery, starter, or alternator. AUTOOL BT760 tests each subsystem and loaded voltage independently to pinpoint the fault accurately.

Battery test
Evaluates voltage, internal resistance (mΩ), and cold-cranking ability via conductance technology. SOH and SOC indicators estimate battery health and charge level to back replacement decisions with data.
Cranking test
Measures cranking voltage drop and start time in milliseconds as the engine turns over, helping isolate weak starters from aging batteries.
Charging-system test
Checks unloaded/loaded alternator voltage and diode ripple while the engine runs. Keep auxiliary electrical consumers switched off during this step.
Load test
With the engine running and vehicle electrical consumers switched on, monitors system voltage under load to verify regulator stability.

Take the measurement beyond the screen.
The BT760’s built-in thermal printer transfers the test result directly to paper. Hand the printed slip to your customer or attach it to the work order right away.
Compare pre- and post-maintenance readings easily. The printer requires no ink cartridges — only a standard 57 mm thermal paper roll.
Thermal reports directly from the device
Present the diagnosis in writing, not by guesswork — customer trust is built on numbers.

Workshop application & thermal report guide.
Field connection rules and how to interpret key parameters printed on the thermal slip.
State of Health (%) & Internal Resistance (mΩ)
As plate sulfation increases, internal resistance (mΩ) rises and SOH drops. Even if open-circuit voltage reads 12.6V, a high-resistance battery will collapse under cranking load.
State of Charge (%) & Recharging
If SOH is healthy but SOC is low, the battery simply needs recharging rather than replacement—saving unnecessary warranty claims.
Dual-Battery Rule on 24V Trucks
Run cranking and charging tests across the 24V system, but measure each 12V battery individually when performing the SOH battery health test.
Alternator Diode Ripple Analysis
Beyond regulator voltage (13.3V–14.8V / 26.6V–29.6V), BT760 checks AC diode ripple to catch failing rectifier diodes early.

Matched to the battery chemistry, clear tactile controls.
Select the exact profile for regular flooded lead-acid, AGM flat-plate, AGM spiral, GEL, or EFB batteries. Entering the rating standard and nominal value printed on the battery label ensures accurate conductance evaluation.
Seven physical buttons are easy to operate with workshop gloves. On dual-battery 24V vehicles, test batteries individually before running 24V cranking and charging checks.
- Flooded lead-acid
- AGM flat-plate
- AGM spiral
- GEL
- EFB

Three steps from connection to report.
Connect
Attach the red clamp to the positive terminal and the black clamp to negative. Clean battery terminals ensure accurate resistance readings.
Select parameters
Choose the battery chemistry, rating standard, and nominal value on the color screen.
Print report
Print the thermal slip immediately and hand a copy to your customer.
Visual guesswork vs. measured diagnostics.
Different approaches to the same complaint lead to very different workshop outcomes.
Visual guesswork
- Battery health is estimated without data
- Cranking and charging faults are easily confused
- Only verbal feedback is given to the customer
- No documented proof in case of dispute
Measured diagnosis with BT760
- SOH/SOC & mΩ health and charge indicators
- Four dedicated tests with clear numerical results
- Printed thermal slip for the work order
- Before/after maintenance comparison

Package contents, ready for the workshop.
All essential testing, carrying, and printing accessories are included in the standard kit.
- AUTOOL BT760 battery tester unit
- Detachable red/black copper clamp cable
- Zippered carrying case
- User manual
- Thermal paper roll
1-year Otoeko warranty
The device is backed by a 1-year Otoeko hardware warranty against manufacturing defects. Physical damage caused by misuse or external factors is excluded.
Frequently asked questions
