What does it mean?
B2337 is a Body (airbags, seat belts, body electronics) fault code. It indicates: Horn Control Circuit High .
Symptoms
- The mirror adjust switch does nothing at all in any direction.
- Mirror folding, reverse tilt and memory recall stop working while the mirrors themselves are undamaged.
- Other functions grouped in the same switch pack, such as window lockout, may also be dead.
- No switch activity is visible in live data when the switch is operated.
- The fault typically follows door trim removal, an armrest repair or water getting into the door.
Likely causes
- Switch connector unlatched or a terminal pushed back after door trim or armrest work.
- Broken conductor between the switch and the door module inside the door panel or the armrest loom.
- Corroded terminals in the switch connector after water entered the door.
- Internal break inside the switch assembly, often after long use or a previous spill dried out.
- Loss of the supply or ground that the switch assembly needs to return a valid signal.
- Door module supply fuse or feed missing so the switch inputs are never energized.
- Door module internal fault on that input.
How to fix it
- Read the door module codes and check the switch inputs in live data while operating the switch in every direction.
- If none of the inputs change, unplug the switch and check its supply and ground at the connector.
- Confirm the door module itself has power and ground, since a missing feed makes every switch input read open.
- Measure continuity of each switch wire between the switch connector and the module connector, flexing the door boot loom during the test.
- Bench test the switch assembly by checking continuity across the contacts as each direction is pressed.
- Repair broken conductors with sealed crimped joints and replace corroded terminals, then dry out and reseal the door vapour barrier.
- Replace the mirror switch assembly or the door module once the wiring and supplies are proven, then verify all mirror functions.
