What does it mean?
P1750 is a Powertrain (engine, transmission, fuel system) fault code. It indicates: A/T Shift, Pressure Clutch Solenoid Circuit Malfunction .
Symptoms
- MIL (check engine lamp) on with a transmission warning lamp
- Harsh or slipping shifts, or a shift that does not happen at all
- Limp mode holding one gear, with poor acceleration
- Delayed or shuddering engagement when pulling away
- Gear ratio errors logged alongside this code
Likely causes
- Solenoid winding open, shorted or drawing current outside its window
- Short to ground or short to battery in the solenoid drive wire
- Corroded case connector or an ATF contaminated internal harness
- Debris blocking the solenoid screen so it cannot move fully
- Sticking valve in the valve body that this solenoid pilots
- Blown fuse or a weak feed to the transmission solenoid supply
- Module output driver failure, considered after the circuit tests good
How to fix it
- Check fluid level and condition, and confirm the correct specification fluid is in use
- Read all stored codes and freeze frame to see the gear and temperature at failure
- Measure the solenoid resistance at the case connector and compare with specification
- Command the solenoid with a scan tool and confirm a pressure or ratio change follows
- Test the drive circuit for opens, shorts to ground and shorts to battery
- Drop the pan and inspect the solenoid screen, filter and magnet for debris
- Replace the solenoid, then verify shift quality and clear the adaptive values if the system supports it
